Scope
This Privacy Policy describes information processing associated with the public Regulus Analytics LLC website. It does not govern independently operated government websites or other third-party services linked from Regulus.
Information Collected
When you visit the website, hosting infrastructure and service providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and security-related events. Regulus also uses Google Analytics 4 on certain pages to understand aggregate website usage and performance. Information processed by Google Analytics may include online identifiers, approximate location derived from network information, page interactions, and device or browser characteristics.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar browser identifiers to measure visits and interactions. Your browser may provide controls for blocking or deleting cookies. Some browser or device privacy controls may also affect analytics collection. This policy does not represent that analytics cookies are disabled pending consent; the current website configuration must be reviewed for compliance with applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
How Information Is Used
Technical and analytics information may be used to operate and secure the website, understand traffic and usage patterns, investigate operational problems, prevent abuse, and improve research presentation and performance. Regulus does not currently describe the public website as offering visitor accounts, subscriptions, or payment processing.
Service Providers and Disclosures
Regulus uses third-party services, including Google Analytics, and website hosting or delivery providers, which may process information in connection with their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and security, or in connection with a lawful business transition. The use of Google Analytics does not mean that Regulus independently sells visitor information.
Google Analytics
Certain Regulus pages load Google Analytics 4. Google's processing is subject to its applicable terms and privacy disclosures. Visitors can review Google's privacy information and available analytics controls at policies.google.com/privacy and tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Analytics implementation, geographic consent obligations, and configuration should be reviewed before public release.
Retention
Retention periods depend on the relevant service, hosting configuration, security needs, and applicable legal obligations. Google Analytics retention settings and hosting log retention should be verified rather than assumed to have a particular duration.
Security
Regulus takes reasonable measures appropriate to the website to protect information under its control. No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices and Rights
You can use browser controls to manage cookies and other local storage, and Google's available tools to limit analytics measurement. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, deletion, correction, or other processing of personal information. Regulus will address applicable requests through a contact method to be published in an updated policy.
Children
The website is intended for a general research audience and is not directed to children under 13. Regulus does not knowingly solicit personal information from children through the public website.
Policy Updates
This Privacy Policy may be updated to reflect changes in website features, providers, legal requirements, or information practices. The effective date above identifies the current version.
